Welcome to my blog!
In today’s post, I will be sharing with you the items I’ve chosen from my makeup collection that I will focus on using. I find that I stick to my favourite items regularly and rarely rotate out palettes or face products to know if I truly like the others I have purchased. I’m hoping my doing this Shop my Stash series, I can find products I love and get creative with them, or declutter products out of my collection completely.
Let’s Get Started!

First, we are starting with the base for the face! A couple of these items are my regular go-to products such as the Hard Candy primer; as I need redness control for most of my face; and the Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless. The others are newer to my collection, or I want to try out with other products to see if they work together. The Essence setting spray is almost used up and I would just like to finish it.
Next up, Foundations!

My two staple foundations are the Estee Lauder foundation and the Physician’s Formula. I’m hoping to try these out with some of the newer face products to see what works the best.
The BH Cosmetics foundation is the one I really need to focus with my staple primers and powders. I don’t think this one works for my skin, but I haven’t given it enough of a fair shot, or worn it regularly enough to know if I truly dislike it or not.

These are more staple products that will probably be in the rotation every week. The eyeshadow I use to fill in my brows; the brow gels I just want to focus on using up. The Covergirl concealer is the only one I use, and I do want to try out more concealers this year. Finally, I currently have 3 mascaras on the go, but the Wander Beauty one is the oldest so I would like to use it before it expires.

Next, we have some more face products. The butter bronzer is my favourite bronzer (although I’ve tried very few bronzers), and it took me well over a year to finish my previous butter bronzer.
I think this week I can finish up the Tarte blush in Paaarty, and then based on the eyeshadow palettes I chose I wanted another warmer toned blush (Feisty).
The Pretty Vulgar highlighter we just received in Boxycharm this month, and it’s a rosy champagne shade which I’m excited to use.

This was in a Boxycharm sometime last year and it’s the Pur x Boxycharm contour and highlight palette. The highlight shades are a beautiful golden colour, but I’ve never used the contour shades. I don’t know how to contour, so I’m going to try and learn that this week and see if I enjoy this palette more than I already do.

For the most part I am sick of warm toned eyeshadow palettes. But I own a lot of them. I’m also the type of person who will reach for four different makeup palettes to create one eyeshadow look. I’m hoping that by limiting myself to a few palettes a week, I can explore them enough to create cohesive looks with them. I really enjoy using the Grandoise palette from Ace Beaute that we received in a Boxycharm several months ago and I like the formula.
Before I had a lot of palettes, I bought this palette from Forever 21. From what I remember the shades were okay to good, but I haven’t used this palette in a long time. I want to try out this palette again and see if I like it enough to keep it or to pass on.
The single eyeshadow from Colourpop and the quad from L’Oreal I’ll rotate in if I want to.

Finally, we move on to lip products! I used to love wearing lipstick, but lately not so much. My lips tend to get very dry lately (and in the winter especially) and I normally stick with lip balm. But I do love lip products and I have a bunch that I just need to either get the use out of them or pass them to my sister/throw out.
I picked one dark lipstick; Havana Nights from Ofra. We received this in a Boxycharm a few months ago, and I just don’t know if I’m a fan of the formula of Ofra’s, but it’s a pretty vampy colour that I want to try out. The next three are old favourites that I just need to see if they still work well for me, or if I need to phase them out of my collection.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Shop My Stash! I’m hoping to do this every week or every two weeks, as I love watching these videos on YouTube. If you’re interested in seeing other posts from me or ideas, let me know!
